As Chief Talent Officer Darci Hall is part of Providence Health System HR and Talent Organization where she is responsible for setting strategic direction for the experience our caregivers consume with solutions supporting Talent Management, Learning, Organizational Design and Experience.  Ms. Hall and her team work closely with caregivers and our executives to ensure that these caregiver-centric solutions enable workforce excellence today and into the future and create an experience where our caregivers and core leaders want to stay and grow.

Darci is an award-winning author who has led teams that have earned over 13 learning Innovation industry awards- most recently a Gold Brandon Hall award in the future of work for her implementation of new learning designs and tools that increased workforce engagement and saved millions of dollars."

Prior to this role, Darci was Senior VP, Global Learning Services, Darci Hall was part of Xerox’s Human Capital Services Capabilities Group where she was responsible for developing, growing, and delivering high impact learning solutions for Xerox’s clients, as well as its internal workforce.  Ms. Hall and her team worked closely with clients to ensure that these learner-centric solutions enable workforce excellence today and into the future. In addition to solution development and delivery, Darci manages expansion of Xerox’s learning services via strategic acquisitions and global partnerships.

Ms. Hall began her career in Corporate Training and Development in the Finance sector as a trainer and eventually worked her way up to leading Corporate Training and Development for several Fortune 500 companies. She has been working in the field of Organization Development and Workforce Performance for 25 years and has created over 20+ programs in leadership, professional development, and technical curriculum.

Darci is an active member in ATD and PMI.  She has spoken at several conferences on Digital learning and its impact on Learning Design, information quality, evaluations and design of curriculum for global companies. Additionally, Darci did author a monthly column for Training Magazine on the topic of succession planning for the Federal workforce, as well as a bi-monthly column on the same topic for ATD’s newsletter, ATD Links.

Ms. Hall received her degree from Oregon State University in Communication and Broadcast Media.  She also has certifications in Instructional Design, Systems Engineering, Project Management and Technical Training.

She currently resides in Portland Oregon with her husband and two children Cooper and Cole.

A. Denise Malloy, Vice President Diversity & Inclusion, provides strategic and day-to-day operational leadership on all global equity, diversity and inclusion programs, and practices across the 150 countries where Johnson Controls conducts business. She is responsible for the optimal attraction, development and retention for diverse talent and infusing diversity, equity and inclusion principles and practices into Johnson Controls products, outreach and philanthropy. Denise is the architect of the newly designed Johnson Controls Diversity & Inclusion mission, vision and roadmap. She has led the effort to empower every Johnson Controls employee to play an active role in diversity & inclusion. This work has landed Johnson Controls on the Forbes 2021 list of Best Companies for Diversity & Inclusion. Prior to this role, Mrs. Malloy held numerous sales leadership and business development roles within Johnson Controls where she emerged as a repeat Master of Sales performer.

In her prior role as Vice President and General Manager of a global business unit, she implemented growth strategies and customer experience for one of Johnson Controls largest customers yielding year over year double digit growth.

Before coming to Johnson Controls, Denise became known as a sales strategist, market creator and gifted relationship builder. She thrived in numerous senior leadership and business development roles with Xerox Corporation, J.P. Morgan, and Enron. Denise serves on numerous non-profit and corporate boards all of which are dedicated to the causes of women and children. Her servant leadership is key to ensuring that she reaches
back, pulls forward and leaves a legacy of advocacy and support of others. Her corporate board experience is focused on breakthrough medical advances and aiding women and minority start-ups success.

A true champion of the people, Denise divides her time between family, business interests, community service, corporate boards, and philanthropy.

Liz Pavese, PhD, is the Director of Behavioral Science, North America at CoachHub where she takes her expertise in organizational psychology, employee experience, and organizational development to close the gap between coaching research and practice. Prior to CoachHub, Liz worked for two employee experience HR tech companies, Limeade and Qualtrics, where she built global advisory teams to deliver on customer employee experience programs and provide expertise in the design of new product features and solutions. During her time as Director of Organizational Development at Healthfirst she supported the organization’s transformation toward integrated talent management through building employee listening strategies, assessing and supporting culture transformation, transforming performance management, delivering 360-degree feedback programs, and designing talent reviews and succession planning.

In her early career, Liz was a Consultant for Towers Watson and Paris Phoenix Group, partnering with world-class organizations across industries, her client work ranged from employee engagement, culture assessment and change, competency design and implementation, career architecture, and conducting custom research to address complex business issues.

Liz earned her Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and is an ICF Certified Professional Coach. Liz is an active member of the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP), International Coaching Federation, and Portland Women in Tech.

Kelly Yamanouchi is a business reporter covering airlines and the airport for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She started at the AJC in 2008, joining the paper from The Denver Post. She has also worked as a business writer for newspapers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Honolulu. She has a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
