Natalie Baumgartner, PH.D.
AchieversNatalie Baumgartner, PhD, is the chief workforce scientist and director of the Achievers Workforce Institute, the research and insights arm of Achievers, the employee recognition and engagement platform. She has spent her career advising companies of all sizes, from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 firms, on issues related to company culture. Specifically tackling key-hire assessment and portfolio due-diligence issues, she has found success analyzing what most overlook: the human element.
Previously, Baumgartner was the founder and chief psychologist of RoundPegg, a software platform designed to help companies understand their culture from the ground up to create cultural alignment and higher organizational performance. RoundPegg was acquired by Achievers.
Baumgartner earned her BA in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her MA in clinical psychology at UCLA, and her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, with a specific focus on assessment and additional training in strength-based psychology.
