Natalie Baumgartner, PhD, is the chief workforce scientist and director of the Achievers Workforce Institute, the research and insights arm of Achievers, the employee recognition and engagement platform. She has spent her career advising companies of all sizes, from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 firms, on issues related to company culture. Specifically tackling key-hire assessment and portfolio due-diligence issues, she has found success analyzing what most overlook: the human element.

Previously, Baumgartner was the founder and chief psychologist of RoundPegg, a software platform designed to help companies understand their culture from the ground up to create cultural alignment and higher organizational performance. RoundPegg was acquired by Achievers.

Baumgartner earned her BA in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, her MA in clinical psychology at UCLA, and her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, with a specific focus on assessment and additional training in strength-based psychology.

Teresa Logue, Head of Manager Excellence, has been with Zurich Insurance since 2013. Her career began with Allstate where she spent over twenty years in progressive leadership roles. She also worked in consulting and higher education.  She has a track record of success leading growth and turnaround initiatives, facilitating business rationalization and divestitures, and driving improved revenue, profit and market performance. She is known for her strong commitment to people development and her versatile approach to engage and inspire teams and individuals.

Logue previously led Zurich North America’s Women’s Innovation Network (WIN), which is the largest employee resource group (ERG) at Zurich North America with over 1,400 members.  Logue is a passionate coach and mentor to many both inside and outside of Zurich.

Logue earned a double bachelor’s degree in business and communication from Illinois State University. In addition, she completed the Senior Leadership Program at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and the Full-Spectrum Innovation Program at The Wharton School Aresty Institute.  Teresa was selected as one of Insurance Business 2019 Elite Women.
