Michael C. Sokol, M.D., M.S., serves as Senior Vice President of Clinical Strategy at Quantum Health, a health care navigation and care coordination company.  In this role, Dr. Sokol leads the company’s initiatives to translate the clinical benefits of Quantum Health to clients, prospects, and consultants.  In addition, he focuses on enhancing the scope of the company’s comprehensive clinical services through a population health lens and demonstrating the impact on financial, clinical and humanistic outcomes as well as overall member experience.

Dr. Sokol most recently served as Chief Medical Officer at WebMD Health Services where he designed and delivered health and wellness strategies and solutions to employers and health plans. He has previously held executive roles at Sanofi, Merck, GlaxoSmithKline and Medco Health Solutions where he focused on employee health and well-being, population health and disease management, value-based benefit design and health care quality improvement.

Dr. Sokol is board certified in public health and general preventive medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine.  He also holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.

Dr. Sokol serves on the editorial board of the journal Population Health Management and has published several papers in the peer-reviewed medical literature.   He speaks frequently at local and national conferences and seminars.

Jo Anne Hill has led an impactful career that has included radio, television, and Corporate America.  A nationally recognized leader in the Diversity and Inclusion, Jo Anne is an innovative agent in Corporate America.  In her employment with Piedmont Healthcare, Jo Anne has performed with distinction her responsibilities as the Executive Director for Diversity and Inclusion, where she is responsible for ensuring that Piedmont’s employment strategies and actions are reflective of its diverse marketplace. Jo Anne leads and manages the diversity and inclusion approach for the company, including the integration of diversity into core personnel and business processes, with a focus on developing, implementing, and driving best practice programs, initiatives and processes to foster Piedmont corporate commitment to diversity.

Jo Anne has been recognized by Black Enterprise’s Top Executives in Corporate Diversity, and 2016, 2017 and 2018.  She also appears on Profiles in Diversity Journal’s list of Diversity Leaders.   She is the 2017 recipient of the Atlanta SHRM Impact Award.

In October 2019 Jo Anne was awarded the Game Changer of the Year Award by the Columbus, Ga Urban League for her focus, impact and commitment to Diversity and Incluson.

Jo Anne retired from Aflac after 29 years.  She was the Director of Diversity and Employee Engagement.

Jo Anne, respected by many as one of the most energetic and impactful speakers in the country is often engaged to facilitate workshops, conferences, and keynote addresses.

Driven by her desire to do more, Jo Anne is the CEO for The Game Changer Foundation, a nonprofit, committed to ensuring women of all backgrounds have access to the resources they need to be impactful.

Jo Anne firmly believes in community service.   She has served on the boards of directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Columbus State University’s Community Diversity Committee and as a Board Member of the Mayor's Commission on Diversity.  She is also a 2018 Graduate of Leadership Columbus.

Jo Anne is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s School of Journalism.  She and her husband, Morgan, have two awesome sons, Brandon and Matthew.

Timothy Leier is Director HR, International Benefits for Ecolab; the global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions and services. Tim leads the enterprise benefits function within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence grounded in his 5 C’s of leadership: Communicating, Collaborating, Community Building, Coaching, and Challenging. During Tim’s tenure Ecolab has divested a $2.5billion operating unit, made ten acquisitions, expanded employee wellness programs, re-aligned global retirement programs in five markets, comprehensively reviewed and restructured benefit programs in six markets, and supported associate vaccination and other response to the Covid pandemic.

Tim draws on his education and experience as an actuary, working closely with legal and finance associates, to provide an analytic perspective and approach to benefits offerings at Ecolab. Tim contributes to his community by volunteering his time and resources to Scouting BSA. Outside of work you can find Tim with this friends and family on a sailboat, in a canoe in the Boundary Waters, on skis, or relaxing with great food and a good book.
