Casey has been committed to improving the world of work for more than a decade. In 2010, he founded a tech recruiting firm with the lofty ambition of fixing recruitment on a global scale. Over the next few years that company became EQIQ, and Attuned one of its keystone businesses, all with a combined mission of blending humanity with data to create purposeful and frictionless work lives.

Casey holds an MBA, is fluent in Japanese, produced the first startup-themed feature film in Japan (Startup Girls, released in 2019), and is the author of two books of interviews with Japanese entrepreneurs,  2015’s #1 best-selling  未来をつくる起業家 (Eng. The Quiet Comeback) and  2018’s 未来をつくる起業家 vol 2.  His top three intrinsic motivators are competition, rationality and autonomy.

Joanne Mallia-Barsati is Vice President, Global Talent Management for Penguin Random House. A member of the Global Executive Committee and reporting directly into the Global CEO, Jo is responsible for continuing to advance Penguin Random House’s global talent management and development strategy. In addition, Jo oversees the Learning and Organizational Development function for the U.S. business.

With a pragmatic and collaborative approach, Jo and her team advise and support all aspects of talent management, learning, and organizational development in the U.S. and globally, delivering best-fit solutions for individuals, teams, and the organization. Jo is passionate about using coaching as a development tool and believes in the power of coaching skills in developing high-performing and empowered teams and cultures. As an accredited Associate Professional Coach with the International Coach Federation, Jo also works directly with talent internally to support them in reaching their goals and potential.

Jo joined Random House U.K. in 2011 to lead the Learning & Development function and moved to New York in 2014. Prior to that, Jo spent over 13 years honing her talent and learning expertise at the creative agency Leo Burnett, and The Walt Disney Company.

Isabel Montes is the Human Resources Vicepresident for Newmont- the biggest gold producer in the world, supporting the Latin America and Caribbean region. She is responsible for establishing the vision and strategy to enable the region to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage through people with industry-leading engagement, leadership, and commitment to inclusion and diversity. Isabel was previously the Human Resources and Learning Director for Starbucks Latin America, supporting the region's expansion and establishing the brand as an employer of choice. She also worked for Arthur Andersen and Procter & Gamble.

Isabel holds a bachelor's degree as an Industrial Engineer from Universidad Javeriana, a Master's Degree in Human Resources from Chapman University, and is an ICF Professional Certified Coach. She is a contributing author for Latinas Rising Up in HR; this book proudly showcases incredible stories of inspiring women making a difference in HR across multiple industries. She is a proud mom of two amazing boys, and her passion is to live a purpose-driven life.

Ellen Gifford serves Ascension as Sr. Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for HR strategy and delivery to the ministry’s system office and its national and international network of subsidiary companies. Prior to joining Ascension in 2016, Ellen held HR leadership roles in multiple industries, including healthcare, insurance, staffing and hospitality. A graduate of the leadership academy at the RBL Institute, Ellen earned an MBA degree from Oklahoma Christian University and is a certified Lean Leader, Senior Professional in Human Resources and SHRM Certified Professional. She lives in Oklahoma City with her family.
