Parents of Teens Need Support. How Employers Can Ensure Continuity of Care for All Families

While family-support services like fertility, childcare, and flexible scheduling have evolved over recent years into popular additions to benefit offerings, equitable support for parents and caretakers of teens has lagged behind. Since parents of teens make up one in five employees, why do so many “family friendly” companies fail to address their critical needs? Fully 95% of working parents report heightened levels of stress when thinking about their teens’ future and 88% admitted to using time at work to help their teens with college and career planning, with a quarter of them spending six to 15 hours a week. In this webinar, led by leaders at Empowerly, we’ll discuss how organizations can recognize and support the unique challenges faced by families with teens. We'll cover strategies for integrating support into existing benefits packages, training programs, and company initiatives, with a goal of fostering a culture that actively enhances the well-being of parents and their teenage children.
